I look forward to playing this every day and some times I play it several times a day. It's really fun and I feel like I'm getting something out of it.
I’ve enjoyed relaxing with this app for a long time. Suddenly I’m being jolted alert by frequent loud ads. Definitely ruins a good time.
I’ve enjoyed brain yoga for quite a few years now. I don’t have to be worried about getting bored as there is a good variety of games and you can increase the difficulty of each game as well. I feel like it helps keep my mind sharper as a senior and makes me feel like I haven’t lost all my gray matter. It’s an awesome way to learn how to play on line games as you can progress as you see fit, and it offers you the opportunity to work on skills you think may be lacking. I reccomend to any one who finds “mind” games challenging as it’s not directed at any particular age group. Even my grandson and I like to challenge each other to see what games we do best at and which is a greater challenge.
I love this app but I have to say that this app has the most ads on the internet. Please do something about this. Sometime I feel I waste so much time waiting for adds to finish that I think off deleting the Brain Yoga app. Help.
This is what I turn to to help me wake up each morning and be ready to start my day. The puzzles are fun and the soundtrack is soothing. The encouraging words are so helpful also. My day starts better when it starts with Brain Yoga.
This is a great game of very high quality. The ads are all 5 second ads and they aren’t frequent.
These are excellent games. I play these games every day they are addicted in some aspects mostly because I realize that as I play each game more and more I became more intuitive in my thinking increase my vocabulary a bit and it’s a challenge the special one especially boggles my mind still but I work on it I can get the easier ones but it gives me something to look forward to each day to try doing involve my brain in that type of thought thank you very much I very much enjoy the app
Wow!!!!
Another game ruined by the ads. I get why there are ads, it’s how they’re presented that’s the issue. Popping up at random times, being forced to watch ads in ever increasing lengths, destroys the whole concept of the game. For me, $5 is too much to pay.
I enjoy the quiet and concentration of the challenges this app provides,,,, but and its a big but,,, why have u not considered how jarring u allow your ads 2 b!!! Completely destroys the help the app provides
I’ve played this game for four years and have mostly enjoyed it. I wish the answers didn’t disappear so rapidly, so I could look them over for a minute. And now you have included ads, which you never had before. It greatly takes away my interest in the games. I dislike being interrupted time and again while trying to relax with the game. Thank you for listening.
I love that there’s no timer, no pressure. Some games I have on easy settings, some on the hardest. It’s great to be able to individualize the different game styles. I’m over 900 on daily workouts, so you know I like it.
Love the game. Been playing for years. This game I love but I’ve noticed nearing the end of 2022 more ads popping up. I can’t enjoy the game anymore because I have to friggin wait to play. Love the game but will delete because I HATE ads commercials anything which interrupts what I’m watching or playing. Ads r like the spam pop ups from the 90’s. Completely irritating and annoying. Thank you for a really entertaining game of which unfortunately I will no longer play. U took away the last good puzzle game with junk. Dang :(
This app is a good friend. I have used it for years consistently. It was among the first apps I loaded on to my new phone. Thank you and good job!!!
I love this app but the answers are so fast that I can’t learn from my mistakes. Low then down so I can see where I went wrong. Thanks
This is one of the better games available to play. Very calming and not a ton of ads.
I get to pick which games I want to play and no timers. Yay great job. I’ve had this game since I had my aneurysm and it has helped a lot. I have and still do recommend it.
I’ve had this app for years and until recently I played it for a couple of hours everyday. I believe it helps keep my mind sharp at 71. Then the ads started. The ads are a deterrent for playing the game and the music is loud and obtrusive. I despise it!!!!!
This has been the longest game I’ve had in my phone. I usually delete others due to the abundance of ads (I absolutely understand sitting through ads as a trade off for a free game, but some more recent games I’ve played have been ridiculous, having more ads than playing time). The only ads I get can be skipped after five seconds, and they don’t pop up during the actual games- just before or after. There are several different types of games within this app to choose from, and difficulty levels can be chosen for each one. Another thing I like(d) is that there were no deceptive videos to lure me to download this, as there were with games like “Fishdom” or the “Scapes” series. I hope this app sticks around for a while, because I love it!
I've been glad to have found this game since my brain injury, 9 yrs ago! My brain has loved it ever since! Helps keep things sharp in there... that's a bit of an oxymoronic phrase since the brain is very soft, but I assume you knew that since you're here reading this and considering downloading it :) Do! You'll be happy you did.
Brain Yoga is an awesome suite of games. My favorite is a puzzle with pieces of words that you have to put together to form a list of words spelled horizontally. It is totally engrossing and not timed. Way more satisfying than even Wordle. The other games involving logic and numeracy are challenging as well. I like the fact that there are many levels to each game from easy to ball buster. Get Brain Yoga and give your brain a tuneup now!
I enjoy playing each of the games and the variety. I feel I need the challenge since I’m retired. I like being able to choose the difficulty level.
Lots of variety, lots of levels of challenge, this is a great app to take with you everywhere.
Sarah deserves Developer of The Century. Every single one of Sarah’s apps are Masterpieces of not only the technology, but also of thoughtful content, simple graphics, and consistent care for the end user. I play every single one of them ! And because Sarah is refined, you won’t KNOW of her marvelous cache of quality games UNLESS you seek them out ! I recommend everyone does. Just Brain Yoga alone is Developer Nectar, so rich and endlessly satisfying ! Just imagine what ten or eleven MORE challenging or calming Masterworks will do for your poor Candy-Crush-rotted brain ! 🥂🥳 Cheers to YOU, Sarah ! Thank you so much !
Graphics are so light can hardly see the prompts. There’s no way to record my progress. The music is annoying, it’s confusing how to play some of the games. And I still haven’t figured out how to adjust the difficulty. Also I keep on getting pop-up advertisements. so annoying!
Love the games, even got my husband to do them
This is amazing
This game has a lot of positives that are almost outweighed by one serious negative (plus a few too many ads, I’d rather just pay a few bucks). Pros: a good variety of games, the ability to set the difficulty level, let’s you play the daily game selection more than once, plus unlimited times on individual games. (A lot of these brain games limit game play unless you pay a premium.) However… my eyes are not bad (I don’t have to wear glasses) but this game is so hard to see in some games. The Patterns and Logic games have terrible contrast (medium/dark colors on medium/dark backgrounds). The Planning game has subtle grooves in wood that aren’t easy to see. And while I’m not colorblind I feel compelled to point out that the special game is really not colorblind friendly nor is the logic game. The fonts in the game are thin and pale. As a graphic designer I just want to be able to customize and fix these issue because they hurt game play so much. Their development/graphics team just needs to view these games in freyscale to see how bad the issue is, or view under colorblind filters that come in apps like photoshop. Or just use safe rules…e.g. don’t put medium colors on medium backgrounds and don’t use red and green together. I don’t usually write reviews but because I like this product I took the time to write this — in the hopes that this issue is addressed. I’m tempted to quit playing because I get so frustrated playing the patterns game which is my favorite. It’s so hard to see red on medium gray etc. I hope this is changed sometime in the future.
Great games. Peaceful music. But why not the ability to save games? Even if you keep it in the background it will refresh and erase all your progress. That is very frustrating especially after paying the full price. Besides that I love it.
I have been searching games to assist with my short term memory issues. I keep downloading multiple apps trying to get the variety I need. This is my first time playing but I have played each one in this app and am excited and hopeful to see if this helps me. Thank you for you time and effort and for making this available for me to be able to use. Blessings to you!
I love this game. It’s so relaxing and fun. Thank you for making it and keeping it maintained!
Need more time to see answers. Maybe a key stroke.
I know this sounds weird but when I play a certain game in this app that works on the lazy area of my brain I feel kind of light headed. Not in the dangerous sense, just almost a bit nauseated. It doesn't last and it's barely noticeable if I ignore it, and stops as soon as I stop exercising that area of my brain! I love the relaxing music. It calms me and helps me refocus. I love that you can set a reminder for daily brain stimulation exercises. The app is very user friendly too!
Pattern matching. Seems simple. In programming, though, I expect it's quite complicated. The definition in game is a bit ambiguous, but the programming does not match the definition. The definition does not specify that ALL attributes must be the same or different, so clearly at least one set of attributes must be different in order to form a set. But what if 3 attributes are different? The programming doesn't recognize this. I'll give an example from level 4. Colors are magenta, teal, and green. Patterns are striped, blank, and filled. Shapes are triangle, square, and circle. Only the number is the same for each in the set: two. But the programming doesn't recognize this set, even though it fits the definition. By the way, the definition implies that it is possible to match cards that are completely identical in every way (all four attributes match) but clearly the game doesn't provide such opportunities. So perhaps the definition should be revised to clarify how the programming actually handles sets internally.
I really enjoy the card match game
There was no way to close out the app other than to shut my phone off. Deleted immediately.
New ads just open pop ups.
I use this everyday. It is relaxing but has the eliminate of challenge that I need to keep it interesting. Truly enjoy this. Don’t change a thing!
I have SETS on easiest settings, but I never get it right. It does not help that I never have enough time to view the correct answer
I love these games!! They are so fun and occasionally make my head hurt . . . In a good way. The only improvement I can think of is to allow a bit more time to study the solution when you have to cry uncle and use the pass button. The “play again” banner pops up too fast to have much of a chance to wrap my brain around the solution.
Best relaxing and stress free yoga for the brain! I've enjoyed this app for a few years now and its still a keeper for me! Thank you developers for all that you've accomplished with this game!!
This is a piece of crap. Ads will start blaring at inopportune times.
This is the game I go to first when “game time” is on my agenda! That way, if my time is limited, I know this will fulfill my gaming need. =) At first I skipped the ones that are not in my wheel house, but the different levels allowed me to gain confidence and eventually climb the levels. Very encouraging and satisfying. The couple that are timed challenge me, and I need that. Love it! Best game ever for engaging my brain in different areas. Thank you!
I have found this is an excellent part of my intentional relaxation and meditation. I use the tiles puzzle almost every day before my meditation. Takes longer if I’m not at Peace. It’s relaxing. I’m sad to find today it’s Apple only! My dear cousin wants it ! Can’t get it on her android cell or tablet. Thanks Sarah for keeping me interested and helping me relax more for years.
Some puzzles need a better explanation. Let the player decide to more to the next puzzle.
Just what I was looking for...relaxing, but challenging. Can play at my own speed. Can adjust level of each section to match my skill or mood. Interesting variety.
I just got this app about a week or two ago, and I have played several of the games. It’s a very very fun app with several game choices. My favorite is patterns, which is similar to logic puzzles and sudoku in its approach to problem solving. I also like sets, planning, and logic. The problem I have is that the app does not save your current game if you have to shut your ipad. I think that this is important. Since I wrote about this problem the developer has improved the performance on saves, although it doesn’t always save the last game. Also, I paid for the premium version but I only get it on my iPad. The price must be per device, not owner.
I love this app!! It keeps the brain engaged in constructive activity, while like a mental massage, the soothing music melts away stress. Thank you, Sarah, for providing consistent quality and attention to detail for hours of cerebral bliss!
